NO7 CREAM BRONZER REVIEW
No7 Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream Bronzer. Shade – Light Glow.

This No7 Cream Bronzer has been compared to the famous bestselling Chanel bronzing cream. I’ve seen many reviews of this bronzer all over social media stating this is a dupe for Chanel.
I used to work for Chanel and I would sell this product all day long. Honestly at the time I didn’t really get the hype! I’ve never been into cream products myself but recently I have started using liquid blushers and bronzers in my kit under powder products so I thought I’d give this a go.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS…
The packaging is similar to the Chanel bronzer regarding the shape, size and concept of the product. The No7 Cream Bronzer contains 36g of product for £19.95 and the Chanel bronzer contains 30g for £48.
The No7 Cream Bronzer has a frosted bottom and a light gold lid with the No7 logo embossed in the middle. This is where I am a little disappointed, maybe I’m being a little too fussy but the No7 logo should align with the writing on the bottom of the jar. The fact that the lid doesn’t screw on to match the bottom writing does annoy me a bit. This bronzer is nearly £20 so I think that small detail would make the product feel a little more luxurious.

I chose shade Light glow and I’m really glad I didn’t choose a darker shade. The No7 Cream Bronzer does seem to be quite dark to be classed as their lightest shade. The product lays flat in the jar compared to the Chanel bronzer that has a swirled whip like design.

Let’s try the product on my face. I applied the No7 Cream Bronzer exactly where I would normally apply my powder bronzer. I used an angled blusher brush and swirled into the bronzer coating all the bristles. I then dabbed the excess on to the back of my hand. It’s important to dab a couple of times on your hand to distribute the product throughout the bristles evenly before it touches your face. The darker the bronzer the more you will need to dab the product to remove excess.
This is a photo after applying No7 Cream bronzer. I was going to take a picture when I first applied the bronzer before blending out the product but the bronzer seemed to just melt into my skin without any effort blending at all! The colour at first did worry me with how dark it looked but once I applied on to the face it blended in seamlessly.

The next photo was taken 4 hours later. The No7 Cream Bronzer has not moved and still looks in tact. I would like to add I did not set this bronzer with any powder over the top. Usually with cream products I do apply a powder version to set. For instance a cream bronzer I would usually set with a powder bronzer to make sure it lasted all day. For this review though I am using the product how it is intended not how a Make-up Artist would use it.

The next photo is an up close shot after 8 hours wear. Bronzer is still looking natural.

PROS
– Easy to blend. Product barely needed any blending so it’s suitable for everyone.
– Long lasting. Product was still visible at the end of the day.
– Price point. I can see this bronzer lasting for a very long time, the amount of product you get for the price is a bargain.
– Better than Chanel. Dare I say it? Yes I actually prefer this to the Chanel bronzer! I feel the texture of this bronzer just melts into the skin with very little effort. For less than half the price of the Chanel bronzer I think it’s a no brainer.
CONS
– Lid doesn’t align with bottom writing. Yes I’m being fussy I know but it does irritate me.

HOW TO USE…
Use a clean angled blusher brush and swirl into the bronzer coating all the bristles. Dab the excess on to the back of your hand. This distributes the product throughout the bristles evenly before it touches your face. The darker the bronzer the more you will need to dab the product to remove excess. If you want maximum longevity set with a setting powder or a powder bronzer. It’s important to make sure your brush is clean every time you swirl your brush into the bronzer otherwise it will encourage bacteria to grow in the product. If you don’t wish to clean the brush every time scoop a little product out with a clean spatula on to the back of your hand and swirl the brush into the bronzer that way.
