TOO FACED KILLER LINER REVIEW
Too Faced Killer Liner – Shade Killer Cashmere

I’m always on the hunt for a nice cream coloured eyeliner for the waterline. It’s becoming increasingly popular for brides and anyone wanting to make their eyes look bigger. Cream/nude eyeliner is a better option than white if you’re wanting a more natural look however I have tried many and none have been right for me. A lot of the cream colours tend to be too orange or yellow. I do find pencil eyeliners disappear after a few hours wear so I tend to choose gel eyeliners instead however this Too Faced Pencil claims to last 36 hours. I will absolutely not be testing this for 36 hours because let’s face it who needs an eyeliner to last that long?! But with the bold claims I’m hoping this will at least last all day!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS…
The packaging is pretty I like the shade of pink and the eyeliner colour seems to be a good nude shade for the waterline. The outer casing is plastic and I do find these harder to sharpen. Usually I prefer a wooden casing.
The pencil ran effortlessly in my waterline and felt very creamy. I applied the liner at 10am. Let’s check back in later on.

The next photo is after 6 hours wear. You can see the colour is less bold and it has worn away slightly on my outer edges. The eyeliner has not smudged under my eyes it has just worn away slightly. For a pencil it has lasted well on me as usually they have disappeared after 1-2 hours.

PROS
- Creamy texture
- Easy to apply
- Lasts longer than the average pencil eyeliner
CONS
- The colour has a slight golden tinge which is more noticeable in the outside light. I wish it was a tiny bit less yellow (more of a cream colour)
- Doesn’t last for a FULL day so would need a top up half way through after 5/6 hours
- Plastic outer casing. I personally prefer wooden pencils I find them much easier to sharpen and to get a good point.
FINAL THOUGHTS…
If you’re looking for an easy to use pencil liner for your waterline this is the best one I have tried so far. I find gel eyeliners are longer lasting but they’re not as convenient on the go and I haven’t found a cream coloured one as of yet! For a nude waterline that you don’t mind topping up after 5/6 hours it’s brilliant.
