FYNE ART BEAUTY CONCEALER REVIEW

Fyne Art Beauty Flawless Finish  Concealer Shade 06.

I’ve seen this concealer all over tiktok and I’ve been wanting to try it for a while. Then I saw there was a special offer on Tiktok shop, including delivery it was only £8.

As you may have read from previous blog posts I’m extremely fussy when it comes to concealers. I have my favourite which is Tarte Shape Tape however I still love trying new concealers to see if any closely compare to my holy grail one.

I noticed the colours do start extremely light so it was quite difficult to choose a colour online. Usually I’m around 2-3 shades in from the lightest shade in most brands however I ended up choosing shade 06 in this particular brand. This isn’t a negative as it’s great to have lots of shades however it could have done with a write up of the shade and tone as it only shows a model wearing each colour and doesn’t mention what under tone each one is.

I believe the packaging has recently changed to create a more user friendly design as I read there were complaints with the previous packagings lid. I like the new packaging it feels high end, has a sleek design and a nice size wand.

This is my eye before applying the concealer.

When first applying I do feel the colour is slightly too light and yellow toned for my personal preference. Like I mentioned earlier if it gave a description I would have chosen something more along the lines of a light neutral tone but looking at the pictures it is difficult to judge.

The coverage claims to be full however I would say it’s more medium. This is how it looked when I first applied the concealer with a brush.

I then added my foundation and bronzer giving the concealer time to set.

I found the concealer had creased slightly as most concealers do so I set with my favourite loose powder for under the eyes which is the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder. I pressed this in using a powder puff and finished the rest of my make-up.

I found the concealer didn’t really cover the darkness under my eyes as much as I’d like. When I tilt my head down or to the side you can see under eye darkness peaking through which you don’t normally see with my usual concealer.

Even though the concealer is less coverage than my Tarte Shape Tape I still feel it looked more drying under my eyes.

This is how the Fyne concealer looked after 9 hours wear. The concealer has held up very well, also the day I tested this concealer it was 29 degrees so I am impressed with the longevity.

FINAL THOUGHTS…

I personally don’t love this Fyne Art Beauty Concealer however I don’t hate it either. It did last very well when set with powder and did photograph quite nicely. However when I tilted my head down and looked up or turned to the side I could see my under eye circles. I think this concealer is a good option for anyone that doesn’t have as much darkness under their eyes and wants a relatively inexpensive concealer.
